Big Way Sweden 2012 - 9th-13th July
The fun starts on Monday
Chromy returns to Gryttjom

Besides his many thousands of jumps, and medals - Chromy is a fun guy to be around, and he is always willing to learn new languages as he goes. A week in a foreign country usually means he will have acquired a smattering of the local language and certainly enough to make you laugh at some of the funny things he says.
Chromy has significant experience in coaching jumpers and teams and has participated as an organizer for many years now - He has partaken in the Airspeed challenges in Spain and has good sound technical skills to pass on during this very challenging formation we have planned. You can check out his profile on the organizers page and read a little more about him.... Hopefully you're all signed up and ready to join us for a great event the first 2 weeks of July.
Formation Update: 46-way Rubick

Nadja confirms as an Organizer

Nadja Lönnroth has officially confirmed her participation as a co-organizer for Big Way Sweden 2011. Known for her efforts as a competitive 4 way jumper, Nadja has also partaken in the Women's World record as well as the being part of the Scandinavian contingent on the 400-way world record set in Udon Thani, Thailand in 2006.
Nadja's experience from partaking in these types of large formations will be valuable to all of us during the Big Way Camp. For those of you that don't know Nadja personally, I'm sure you'll immediately like her fun and helpful attitude towards other jumpers. With Nadja being well known in Finland maybe we can expect a strong contingent of Finnish jumpers joining us for Big Way Sweden 2011.... Warm up the Sauna!

Big-Way Camp Gryttjom 2011
Week 1 - (4-8th July)
The first week will be geared towards less experienced jumpers wanting to learn the intricacies of large formation skydiving with the purpose of getting onto the some of the cooler and better large formations and formation camps. The focus will be on safety and enjoyment - This will also be a great place for those more experienced jumpers wanting to get a little more current for Week 2's challenges... Those participants of the 2nd week who would like to come and join us for some less challenging but good pointers and reminders would be more than welcome.Week 2 - (11-15th July)
Aims to be an exciting week where every jumper is challenged to the max! Based on the concept of the Arizona Challenge we will start the week with some smaller groups, doing different and challenging jumps, aiming to help prepare us for the bigger challenge at the end of the week. This also gives us (Organizers) the chance to place people in the best slots for the final formation's success. There will be an emphasis on success, enjoyment and safety with the end goal being building something that will be challenging, fun and never been built in Scandinavia before.- Where: Gryttjom - Skydive Stockholm
- When: Week 1 (4-8th July) & Week 2 (11-15th July)
- Format: During the week 2 of the event - we'll be using a proven format, similar to what has been successfully used during the "Arizona Challenge" and pioneered by Arizona Airspeed.
